COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN

We are at the forefront of the application of computer-aided design, visualization and elaboration. Because we design entirely 3-dimensionally, we can use high-quality photorealistic images to provide early insight into the appearance and quality of the design and, for example, material variants can be quickly assessed. Also the elaboration is done with the latest software which allows for optimal cooperation with other parties in the process.

VISUALISATIONS

In the design process, the design is elaborated and visualized in 3D. We make use of photorealistic images in which the main design, use of materials and lighting can be assessed. Already in the Sketch design phase we work with realistic images. We use the visualizations in this phase to determine the right direction of the design and to achieve a common enthusiasm.

Interior images provide insight into the atmosphere and materialization of the interior.

In order to experience the design optimally, Virtual Reality or VR can be used. This allows one to "walk through the design" with a pair of VR glasses on.

BUILDING INFORMATION MODEL (BIM)

When the main outline of the design has been established, BIM software (Autodesk REVIT) is used for the technical elaboration. A BIM model is a technical 3D model of the building from which all drawings and specifications can be generated. The model can also be used to collaborate with other building team partners. The structural engineer can work on the structural parts of the building and the installation consultant on the installation parts. In this way all parts of the building are integrated in 1 model.

The contractor can then use the model as a foundation for work planning and to determine the correct quantities for his budget. The specifications of building products can also be found in the model. Subcontractors can use parts of the model to work out their part of the building. Working with BIM models is efficient and reduces errors during the construction process.
